1、 Selection of primary color wavelength: LED display screen has a very wide range of applications in all walks of life, and there are different requirements for the primary color wavelength of LED in different application places. For the selection of primary color wavelength of LED, some are to achieve good visual effect, some are to meet people’s habits, and some are the provisions of industry standards, national standards and even international standards.
For example, the selection of green tube primary color wavelength in full-color LED display; In the early days, the wavelength of 570nm yellow green LED was widely used. Although the cost was low, the color gamut of the display screen was small, the color restoration degree was poor, and the brightness was low.
2、 Brightness adjustment:
1. Modulation pulse width uses the changing frequency that can be felt by human eyes, and uses pulse width modulation method to realize gray control, that is, periodically changing the light pulse width. Pulse width modulation is more suitable for digital control and has been widely used. The most common method is to adopt microcomputer. At present, almost all LED displays adopt pulse width modulation to control the gray level.
2. Ordinary led allows continuous task current of about 20 mA. By changing the current flowing through the LED, the brightness of the rest of the LED is basically proportional to the current, except that the red LED is saturated.
3、 White field color coordinate deployment: white field color coordinate deployment is one of the most basic technologies of full-color LED display. However, in the mid-1990s, due to the lack of industry standards and basic testing methods, the color coordinates of white field were usually determined only by human eyes and feelings, resulting in serious color deviation and randomness of color temperature of white field.
4、 Color adjustment: HD LED display is displayed according to the principle of three primary colors of light. One of the colors of red, green and blue is determined according to the brightness of the red, green and blue colors of the selected products. Generally speaking, as the brightness standard, it is the one with low brightness ratio. When one of the standards has reached the maximum brightness, it is necessary to adjust another color for the two-color LED display screen, For the full-color LED display, it is necessary to adjust the color of the other two kinds of LED.
